-------------------- The Founding Group -------------------- |
The group that founded, or rather was the basis for, Roll'em Again Gaming Group (also known as RAGG) started long before I came along. Paul P., Paul B., and Sean had been playing AD&D® together for some time with a constantly changing and unstable pool of players. The player pool had included local gamers, college students, and Air Force Base personnel with all that comes with that environment. |
|
Paul P. - | Husband, father, county employee, and the "leader of the pack," cornerstone of the group, and driving force of Roll'em Again Gaming Group. He played AD&D® and Axis & Allies® with equal imagination and skill. No one in the group had ever defeated him in Axis & Allies®. |
Paul B. - | Husband, father, part-time DM, and the other half of "The Pauls". He left the group when he and his family moved to California. Event though he left before the formation of RAGG, his influence went in to its creation. |
Sean - | He willingly gave up the "big chair", supplied comic relief on game nights, earned 11xp (with 10%) for ideas that helped the DM and were usually detrimental to his own character, and was the character rollup champion. A high school student who saw more than he should have. After RAGG's creation he left to enter the U.S. Air Force. |
Debora L. - | Veteran wife, veteran mother, veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and one heck of a role-player. Her husband, Kevin L., dragged her into every roleplaying games he manages to DM/GM. Without her support RAGG, or at least her husband's involvement in it, would not have happened. |
Kevin L. - | Has, or has had, two wives, four kids, spent ten years in the U.S. Air Force, and four years in college. He fell into the position of DM/GM when Sean's first attempt at DMing proved overwhelming. He made the fortunate error of mentioning that he DMed on the first night of an AD&D® game that he was invited to. The next session he was in the "big chair" where he remained for three years DMing a very successful AD&D® campaign. He introduced the group to Buck Rogers in the 25th Century® which after many initial complaints about playing a non-AD&D® game was asked to run it again. He has subsequently created his own web page. |
"Rob" P. - | A "teacher-in-training" with an M.A. degree in Political Science and an experimental GM. He created his own system for Star Wars RPG® and MERP® which he ran on a regular basis. |
Matt - | A "certified, card carrying, tree hugging, animal loving, environmentalist liberal" who changed his views on extreme liberalism and environmental attitudes once he got into the workforce and had to start paying taxes. |
Jeremiah - | A dedicated player who started playing when he was a high school student. He left the game to attend collage in Michigan. He returned between semesters, during breaks, and over the summers. |
Brian T. - | A college student with a major in journalism who went "out west", western New York state, to become a "liberal-biased reporter." |
