Turning the Wheel of Peace
James Twyman wrote that Thomas, a 12 yr old 'Psychic Child' responded to the declaration of war with these words:

"Do not think that you have failed, no matter what happens. Failure is impossible at this point, though it may be different than you expect. Think of it like a game that children play. You have already won. That is the good news. The ending is sure because the
wheel of Peace is already in motion."

So how can we assist in the turning of this 'wheel of peace?  How can we be peacemakers, rather than war mongers? How do we think globally while continuing to act as voices & exemplars of peace in our own communities?

In all those ways, little & big, we are called to.  Sharing lunch with a friend, sending an e-mail to a congressman or woman, inviting rather than excluding, donating time, energy, talents to local charities; praying, meditating, dancing, singing, ....

SOME RESOURCES & LINKS:

Emissary of Light :
James Twyman's site is an internationally renouned 'Peace Troubador' who has traveled around the world & encTroubadoureople to work together to find peaceful resolution to conflicts. There are several courses you can recieve through e-mail, including his current 'SpireceivePeacemakers.' The Peace Prayers come from many traditions, & are lovely.

James Redfield's book Celestine Prophecy opened the doors of our minds, & offered a glimpse of the direction humanity can travel, if we will only trust synchronicity & envision a new future!  His web site gives an overview of James & Salley's writings & schedule, & has links to other interesting sites. I was given a copy of Celestine Prophecy in the mid 90s, & feel it dovetails beautifully with Reiki.  I just finished 'Secrets of Shambala' & would invite you all to engage the power of your Angels.

Marrianne Willimson has some lovely prayers & thoughts about war & peace on her site.

Dhyani Ywahoo , Cherokee lineage bearer & peacekeeper, invites people to move into right relationship in the family of life. 'We are invited to enter a way of living that calls forth the ideal of good neighbors working in harmony as a self sustaining community. ' In Cherokee tradition, 'when we make prayers at the fire side & forgive ourself & others of errors, we are renewed through dedication & right action.'
Light a candle or a bonfire; let us make prayers at the fireside.

May these seeds of peace take root in your heart, & bring you blessings & peace
