The best point or part of the game is the system itself, more rounded than the Star Frontiers® system and less complex than the Alternity® system. The BR XXVc system is, well, the AD&D 2nd Edition® system with a few changes. Being a “known” system, at least for players of AD&D® or D&D®, it is easy to learn and adjust to (this is also easier on a GM who is accustomed to DMing). This allows more time for learning your character and less time needed for learning the system. Some of the differences include Career skill and an open General skill system that uses a percentage-base with prerequisites and built-in difficulty modifiers. There are no Alignments to restrict or confuse players (Save the helpless freighter from RAM, then take its cargo to pay for ship repairs). There are no Weapon Proficiencies. If you can pick it up, hold it, swing it or pull the trigger or throw it, you can use it. And Saving Throws are race/level-based instead of career/level-based.

Another excellent point is the established and extensive storyline/history. It is very well done, very comprehensive, and rather believable, but not restrictive or limited in how future events may unfold.
